If you come to my house
in Prats de Mollo you will be living in the
heart of a medieval town. The residents here
are generally very welcoming to visitors. The
pace of life is slow and much importance is
placed on the civilities of life. It is an experience
to savour.
Prats de Mollo is in the Pyrenees Mountains. The town (and houses)
are built into the side of the hills. Steep hills and many stairs pervade
the whole area. So the house and town are not suitable for all. There
is no disabled access in either the town or the house and many of the
streets are cobbled.
The house has a rooftop terrace accessed by a spiral staircase. The
house also has polished wooden stairs. This could pose a danger for
small children or the very elderly. If you are unsure please ask.
